Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between NEW IT INVESTMENTS LTD and any person or entity accessing pdfgo.online or using the Services ("you"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Definitions
- Services: online tools for converting, compressing, transforming and delivering files and related functionality.
- User Content: files, data and materials you upload, submit or process via the Services.
- Output: files generated by the Services from your User Content.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and have legal capacity to accept these Terms. If using on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation.
3. Account & Access
You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Keep your password secure and notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- breach laws, third‑party rights or these Terms;
- upload unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or malicious code (malware, scripts intended to abuse);
- reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or bypass technical protections;
- overload or attempt to interfere with the Service (DoS, rate limits, automated excessive calls);
- use the Service to process special categories of personal data or regulated/confidential data (e.g., medical, biometric, payment card PANs, government IDs) unless you have a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards;
- use the Service for child sexual abuse material, terrorism, or other prohibited content.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
5. User Content & Licences
You retain ownership of User Content and Output. You grant us a limited, revocable, worldwide licence to host, process and transmit User Content and Output solely to provide the Services and support. We do not claim ownership of your intellectual property.
6. Files Handling & Deletion
Operational handling is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service you instruct us to process and temporarily store User Content and Output as necessary. We may retain copies for a limited period for backup, security and fraud prevention.
7. Plans, Fees and Payments
If we offer paid plans/subscriptions:
- Fees, billing cycles and taxes are shown at checkout or in your admin area.
- Payments are processed by third‑party providers; their terms may apply.
- Refunds: unless required by law, paid fees are non‑refundable once the billing period starts, except where the Service was unavailable due to our fault for more than 24 consecutive hours in a billing cycle, in which case a pro‑rata credit may apply.
8. Beta Features
We may offer beta/experimental features "as is", with no service‑level commitments, and may change or withdraw them at any time.
9. Intellectual Property
The Services, software, design, and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors. No rights are granted except as expressly set out in these Terms. You must not remove proprietary notices.
10. Feedback
If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us a free, irrevocable licence to use them without obligation.
11. Third‑Party Services
Some functionality may rely on third‑party libraries, CDNs, cloud providers or payment processors. We are not responsible for third‑party terms or outages.
12. Warranties & Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (express, implied or statutory), including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error‑free or that Output will be accurate for your particular use case.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Services or these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) £100; or (b) the amounts you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data or use.
14. Indemnity
You shall indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your use of the Services in violation of law or third‑party rights.
15. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate the Services or your access if (i) you breach these Terms; (ii) required by law; or (iii) for security or technical reasons. You may stop using the Services at any time; account closure instructions are available in your settings or via support.
16. Changes to the Services and Terms
We may modify the Services and these Terms. If changes are material, we will provide notice (e.g., via the Site or email). Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers resident in the EU/EEA may benefit from mandatory consumer protections and can bring claims in their home courts where applicable.
